Drug Trafficking Conviction Penalties

Orlando Drug Trafficking Attorney

Drug offenses are taken very seriously in Florida and can be charged and prosecuted under either Federal or State Law (sometimes both). It is important to know that State and Federal illegal drug laws are increasingly providing for tough prosecution on illegal drug trafficking, illegal drug possession, and other illegal drug-related offenses. The criminal penalties for drug trafficking especially, can at times be quite harsh. Drug trafficking charges in Florida carry mandatory minimum sentences, even for a first time offender. Florida drug laws are some of the harshest in the county. Even relatively minor drug charges, such as possession or possession with intent and delivery of a small amount of drugs, can sometimes carry serious penalties upon conviction and have an impact over your personal, family, and professional life.
